Judith Teodoro was born on the island of São Miguel, where she attended primary school, middle school and high school.

In 1992, after successfully gratuating in law, she started her career at Banco Português de Investimento, in Lisbon. In 1994, when she returned to the Azores, she joined the boards of Banco Comercial dos Açores, which was later acquired by Banco Banif SA. In 1999, she founded the law firm JT-Lawyers.

Judith is an active member of the media in the Portuguese diaspora, in the newspapers Portugues Time (New England), Portuguese Tribune (California), Voz de Portugal (Montreal), Correio dos Açores (Azores), Correio da Manhã (Toronto), with the publication of articles on Portuguese law, and podcasts on radio and television channels CIRV RADIO (Toronto), WJFD (New England), Centre-Ville (Montreal), FPTV and Portuguese Channel.

Judith’s life motto identifies with St. Augustine: “Love is my weight. Wherever I go, it carries me”.
